This is the blog of Abhijit Bhaduri the author of the novel Mediocre But Arrogant and now the soon-to-be published sequel titled Married But Available (another M-B-A)! It is a funny story of how an unambitious undergrad from Delhi Univ lands up in the highly competitive Management Institute of Jamshedpur (MIJ), India. How the two years in B-School change him, his dreams and his relationships. MARRIED BUT AVAILABLE is about the first decade that Abbey spends in corporate India.
Abhi is the one guy I personally know who had the incredible capacity to create beautiful, sensual images from words alone. If he writes as superbly and eloquently as he used to when I knew him in college, this book is bound to be a best-seller. Ab - I wish you all the best.
Now the cover looks like a book with zing and spice added to it, not so serious as the one before.the scrawlings on the cover is bound to remind everyone about their college days b'school or otherwise.The sketches as usual are great.The collage technique is a novel idea.A good one! After the serious review,the lighter one is: the get up is great and its bound to attract......buyers?!Good Luck Abhijit.
Nostalgia! That's bound to be the by-product of this story of love (and life) in a Business School.
Probably the world's first Chief Articulating Officer, Mr. Abhijit Bhaduri, seems to be ready to present us a brilliant blast from the past! My association with this extremely talented (mediocre!) individual has been fairly recent. However, I am (arrogantly) impressed with his multi-faceted approach to life and his diverse talent. A thorough gentleman ;-) busy in the corporate world at a senior level, being able to devote time to books, radio, music, drama, etc. warrants a lot of respect.
Talking to him and sharing a few insights to the book sure have increased my craving for reading this book. Good luck with everything Abhijit and hope to hear about the launch soon.
The cover in its new avataar really looks far more appealing.
